My contributions to Far Cry 5 were focused on Jacob Seed's region in the Whitetail Mountains. As a Level Artist/Team Lead, my day-to-day duties involved hands-on world art production, as well as providing direction to the art team. My world art contributions included world building, set dressing, biome implementation, terrain sculpting, material blending, modelling, polish and debug. For these locations specifically, I built a 2-story cabin kit that we were able to re-use in various different locations throughout the region.
These screenshots represent a team effort, and I primarily worked with Nicolas Najm and Jake Reicher as my Level Designers on these spaces. Credits to Dino Litonjua who helped finish Hurk's Estate. Huge shout out to our Object Bank team who were instrumental in achieving such a high level of polish and optimization in our models and textures.
